20th August: Our 14th August APO trip was very successful.  First time we have done one in August as it is the ‘rainy season.’  If you don’t mind some rain it’s quite a good time to come here.  Few other tourists  But most of the Restos are open, the Hotels are discounting  and local activity picks up with the Town Fiesta at the end of the month.  That’s always good fun!  (We get the tail end of the continental monsoon.  However it only rains here about half the time, not all the time!   Diving can still be good, but have waterproof protection against wind chill on the boat. )
