- Discover Scuba is ideal for those who do not want to plunge straight into an Open Water Course, but want to test out their suitability first. It takes about 5 hours.
- On successful completion you are awarded a PADI Certificate which counts towards the first part of the Open Water Course – valid 1 year.
- You are taught about the equipment and how to kit up.
- The instructor then takes you through basic underwater skills. As you can see from the pics most of this is within your depth so you only have to stand up if there is a problem.
- Also the reasons why are explained so that you gain an understanding of the basic theory.
- At the end you do your first real dive accompanied by your instructor.
- Often students do a second fun dive after lunch!
